Public Forum

Date:
Thu 05 Mar 2009 - 10:00 - 13:00
Room:
Don Alberto 2-4 (Main Room)

What it is | The time set aside each meeting where community members are able to raise any and all points directly to the Board and the wider community.

Why it's important | The public forum enables any attendee to make their point, or to raise a question in public and in front of the full Board.

Who should attend? | All attendees.

Agenda details:

Peter Dengate Thrush, Chairman, ICANN

All attendees are able to ask questions directly to the Chairman/Board in one of three ways:

1. Queue up behind a microphone placed at the front of the room and wait in line for their opportunity to directly address the room

2. Provide their question to an ICANN staff member at the back of the room who will then provide it either to the Chairman or the general manager of public participation to read out to the room

3. Post their question online in the Mexico City Question Box - see below.

The Chairman will moderate the session, calling on Board members and other attendees where appropriate to provide their reflections or comments.
